Need help to organise a day trip to a Hindu Temple?
The Indian Experience

Sunita delivers Cultural & Religious Workshops to schools throughout Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas, covering Indian & Hindu customs and traditions. The resources that Sunita brings with her to schools allow her to provide an exciting and rewarding day for both pupils and teachers.

Sunita has lived in Lincolnshire for over 15 years and truly understands how difficult it can be to teach the topics of India & Hinduism in rural areas. The aim of our workshop is to provide the class with a day full of activities which will have the pupils immersed in the culture, festivals and traditions of India and Hinduism.

We firmly believe that children learn more effectively through enjoyment and we will try to stimulate your class so much so, that they will spend the rest of the topic feeling involved and interested and wanting to learn more.

Schools may request specific workshop activities to suit their learning objectives and where possible we will accommodate these.

'Religious Education (RE) makes a significant contribution to pupils’ academic and personal development. It also plays a key role in promoting social cohesion and the virtues of respect and empathy, which are important in our diverse society. However, the potential of RE was not being realised fully in the majority of the schools surveyed for this report.'
