Need help to organise a day trip to a Hindu Temple?
The Indian Experience

Our India & Hinduism themed workshops are designed to be presented to class sizes or groups of up to 30 pupils.  This allows us to ensure that each and every child is directly involved in the experience. With every single member of your class being given the opportunity to use an artefact, wear an appropriate piece of costume, take part in dancing and creating Rangoli artwork.

All sessions are presented in a way that completely involves the audience and encourages them to be active participants wherever possible which provides for an active learning experience that will captivate and inspire them.

The workshops have been designed to be very interactive and provide learning through many different activities such as storytelling, dancing, dressing up, presentations, art and are flexible enough to allow for all ages and abilities to benefit from them.

The workshops cover a range of areas within the schools national curriculum and include:

Religious Education

Physical Education

Community Cohesion

Every Child Matters

'Religious Education (RE) makes a significant contribution to pupils’ academic and personal development. It also plays a key role in promoting social cohesion and the virtues of respect and empathy, which are important in our diverse society. However, the potential of RE was not being realised fully in the majority of the schools surveyed for this report.'
